Faith is a second year Master of Arts graduate student. During her undergraduate she majored in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Spanish. Her other research focus, besides Juvenile Justice, is Poly-Substance use and its relation to crime severity. In the future she hopes to work in academia on research, specifically focusing on Corrections. Within the realm of corrections, she would like to focus on programming and how it affects recidivism, female offenders and juvenile offenders in the system and on other topics like substance use and mental health. Faith has worked with JJI on the Evidence-based Nebraska Project and provides valuable assistance on training, data entry, and research. One fun fact about Faith is that, in the summer of 2022, she participated in a study abroad program to Valencia, Spain for 6 weeks where she took classes at the University of Valencia and lived with a host family.
