2020 Community Needs Assessments
In the fall of 2020, the Juvenile Justice Institute completed a Community Needs Assessment (CNA) for each county and tribe interested in applying for Community-based Aid funding in FY 2021-2022. These CNAs were intended to help communities identify gaps and needs they should focus on in their community plan and the FY 2021-2022 grant application.
The CNAs include data from, but not limited to Nebraska Department of Education, Census, diversion, probation, Nebraska Risk and Protective Factor Student Surveys, and the courts. There is also a section focusing on Racial and Ethnic Disparities (RED) in the local juvenile justice system.
Below is a link to the CNA for each county and tribe that indicated they were anticipating completing the community plan and applying for grant funding.
